Mobilous was founded by Rakesh Sharrma, who is a serial product entrepreneur with several technology patents to his name. He co-founded Opelin in 2008 which was acquired by HP. Prior to that eCircle was acquired by the Indian conglomerate, Reliance in 2003. He served as the Director, Cloud Services / Mobile Printing at HP ( 2008-2011) and built mobile printing which today is called “HP-as-a-Print”. An Electrical/Electronics degree from Birla Institute of Technology & MBA from XLRI, empowers his quest for innovations relevant to global customers. With experience of transnational teams and business partnerships with organisations across geos, he consistently excecutes responsibilities of P&L, product vision and scale. All this still does not fill his days enough to learn playing the saxophone or deep sea diving or cycling/running or even meditating at Ananda.

Akira Miyata is the CTO of Mobilous and is responsible for the technology stack and engineering innovation at Mobilous. Prior to this, he was Director of Digital Vox, where he developed a travel app that gained thousands of users in its first month, delivered blade server technology to Japanese majors, and built e-Commerce systems for corporations like Yonex and Ajinomoto. He also architected networks for J-Phone which was acquired by Softbank.
