The Havells mid-day meal and sanitation program, a flagship CSR activity undertaken through its QRG Foundation was introduced in 2005 with the aim of improving health, nutrition levels, attendance and learning outcomes of government school going children. The Havells India CSR App was created with Mobilous’ AppExe no-code technology for hassle-free, on-time delivery of meals to schools as well as improving sanitation services.

Approach

For Havells India, one of the largest makers of industrial, household electrical and consumer durable products in India, the flagship program needed an approach that enables effective communication and organization as well as eliminates challenges to make a significant impact.

Enable stakeholders to actively engage and communicate more in order to help improve services.
Enable beneficiaries to share their expectations and concerns with officials of the foundation.
Allow the drivers to perform and report on frequent and informal inspection by sharing pictures of bio-toilets from each school with other team members.
